Anna Allen -Helene Selvedge Jeans

The Helene selvedge jeans are a traditional high waist non-stretch jeans pattern and is available in two separate size ranges: 00-22 and 14-32.

This pattern is based on heritage denim jeans from the 1930’s-1960’s. It has traditional 5 pocket styling including two front scoop pockets, a coin pocket inside the right front pocket, and two pointed patch pockets on the back. It also features slight hip shaping while keeping the side selvedge seams unaltered from hip to hem. It has a V-shaped back yoke and a traditional straight waistband with belt loops.

The leg styles included in this pattern are as follows: View A - Straight, View B - Slim Straight, View C - Wide, and View D - Shorts.

Anna Allen -Demeter Dress + Top

The Demeter Dress + Top pattern includes four versatile variations. All views are pull-over styles with no closures and generous wearing ease.

View A is a loose-fitting dress with short set-in sleeves, bust darts, and a slight empire waistline at the front that dips to the natural waist at the back. The skirt is gathered to the bodice and features inseam pockets and a deep hem.

View B is a sleeveless version of View A with one inch less wearing ease in the body and a skirt that is 3" longer.

View C and View D are the companion tops to Views A and B. The tops are cropped to the high hip and also pull over the head with no closures.

Anna Allen – Persephone Pants and Shorts

The Persephone Pants and Shorts pattern is based on photographs of men’s 1920s–’40s US Navy sailor pants. This is a high-waist pants and shorts PDF sewing pattern.

These pants are unique in that they do not contain side seams—the front and back pant legs are cut from one piece. The design features a concealed button fly, front waist in-seam pockets, belt loops, and two back waist-shaping darts.

View A is cropped-length pants, and View B is cut-off shorts.

Anna Allen – Pomona Pants and Shorts

The Pomona Pants and Shorts are elastic waist, high rise, and loose fitting. They feature no side seams and include patch pockets on the front or back. The waistband is created by folding over the top edge of the pants, which eliminates the extra bulk you would get from a separate waistband seam.

View A is a wide-leg, ankle-length sailor pant with one patch pocket on the back.

View B is a loose tapered-leg, ankle-length pant, also with one patch pocket on the back.

View C is the companion shorts to View A, with a 5” inseam and two patch pockets on the front.

This design was drafted for woven, non-stretch fabrics.

Anna Allen – Philippa Pants

The Philippa pants sewing pattern was created out of a need for simple but sturdy tapered-leg trousers, slim fitting and high waisted. The side seams are completely straight, just as jeans and pants were typically made in the 1930s and ’40s. The straight side seams make this pattern perfect for selvedge denim, which is a type of denim woven on narrow looms.

The Philippa pants include waist shaping at the front and back, two back darts, and feature a classic button fly, back pockets, and belt loops. The pant length ends at the ankle but can be lengthened or shortened as desired.

This pattern is drafted for woven, non-stretch fabrics.

Anna Allen – Denim Button Up Skirt

Anna Allen – Lotte Blouse

The Lotte Blouse is an off-the-shoulder top that can be easily sewn up in an afternoon by a beginner/intermediate sewer. It has a ruffled elasticated neckline and three-quarter length sleeves.

Although this is a fairly basic design, there are so many creative ways you could make this blouse unique. Add several inches to the sleeve length for long sleeves during cooler months, or cut them shorter for puffy sleeves in the summertime.

You could lengthen the hem and instantly transform this blouse into a dress or a tunic. The possibilities really are endless!

Named – Verso Trousers & Shorts

Verso is a very classic and timeless trouser sewing pattern that includes two variations: straight-leg high water trousers, and shorts with small side slits.

Both variations are high-waisted, have a discreet invisible side zipper, and angular patch pockets that can be sewn on the front or back.
