JIYU NO NIWA:
“I imagined an English garden where all kinds of plants gre thickly and freely.” – Kayo Aoyama

Designer Kayo Aoyama spent years studying and working in Scandinavia and is now based in Tokyo. Her varied experience translates into a beautifully unique and fresh style all of her own.

FABRIC:
100% cotton (light weight) broadcloth

This textile shows off the original watercolour painting by the designer. The yellows, greens and pink are fresh against a crisp white background.
It’d be perfect made into summer dresses and shirts.

See the last photo where Kayo and I pore over samples and talking over all things design.
