Description
Spring inspired, painterly fabric by Japanese boutique design house, Kayo Aoyama.

“I love looking at large flower buds, like ranculus and peony, that are round like a ball. I drew this pattern steadily and with momentum, allowing me to capture the succulent round bud that doesn’t usually last long.” – Kayo Aoyama
Designer Kayo Aoyama spent years studying and working in Scandinavia and is now based in Tokyo. Her varied experience translates into a beautifully unique and fresh style all of her own.

Adore these peonies! I made a blouse pattern out of this print and get major compliments on the fabric when I wear it. The medium weight would also make a great skirt or dress. It was easy to work with and I really feel like I’m wearing a piece of art. Shipping was lovely and easy!
