DESIGN HOUSE KANARIYA

Kanariya designer – Kanako Takeda – is a born and raised Tokyo-ite! She lives in the bustling metropolis with her young family, where she creates her original designs.

Inspired by all she sees around her and motifs found in nature – Kanako has a love for colours and shapes that disrupt the norm and make you pause for a moment to take them in.

Established in 2014, Kanariya is all about lines and colours that are freeform and not bound by any constraints.

Kanako creates in a variety of mediums, from gouache to watercolour, and cut paper before her designs are digitally printed on fabric.
