When will my orders ship?
Upon receipt of your payment, your order will be posted within 2 working days, we do however aim for same day packing and mailing. If the item is urgent please advise and contact us for express post shipping costs.
How will I know when my order has been received and/or shipped?
Upon placing an order with us you will receive confirmation email with your invoice. You will receive a subsequent email when your order has been shipped via our shipping provider, Japan Post.
Once placed, can I modify or cancel my order?
We make every effort to ship orders quickly; once submitted, orders immediately enter our processing queues. Should you need to modify your order, please email us as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate your request. We are unable to modify or cancel an order after it has been cut.
How long is the delivery time?
Delivery time will vary depending on destination and local postal service, as a general guide orders should arrive in 5 – 15 days. Please be aware that shipping times may be longer if your parcel is held for customs inspection in the destination country, or in cases of inclement weather.
For time sensitive deliveries (e.g. birthdays) please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive or consider contacting us for the express post option. Peak period delivery times (e.g. the lead up to Christmas) can vary significantly with International shipping.

Yes, we ship worldwide.
Once shipped, how can I track my package?
Standard shipping rates are for small packet international airmail from Japan, which does not come with a tracking number. If you would like your parcel shipped with a tracking number please select the shipping upgrade at the checkout. The upgrade will allow us to provide you with a shipment confirmation number via email once your order has shippied.
What if my order is ‘undeliverable’?
To avoid loss of items or unnecessary delays, please ensure the delivery address you have provided is correct. Once parcels have been shipped, they cannot be re-directed. Undeliverable or unclaimed parcels will be returned to us. Re-shipping a parcel incurs a $15.00 AUD fee for postage and handling.
How much is the shipping cost?
Free standard shipping is provided for orders over AU$150.00. Orders below AU$150.00 will be shipped at the cheapest and quickest method via a courier company or via Japan Post. Shipping costs within Japan are a flat rate of JPY600.00 for the first item with each additional item added at JPY250. International shipping is a flat rate of JPY900.00 for the first item with each additional item added at JPY350. For orders with a large number of items, please contact us prior to purchase to discuss bundled shipping costs.
Will my order incur customs fees?
Customs and import fees vary from country to country. All customs and import fees and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and parcels will be marked as merchandise.
We recommend that you carefully inspect your items when the parcel arrives. Please contact Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately if any of the items are damaged upon arrival. Please provide a description and photo of the damage. Do not wash the fabric if it arrives damaged. We reserve the right to replace, exchange, repair, offer credit or refund as appropriate.
What is the returns policy?
We cannot accept returns on cut fabric however we want to make sure our customers are happy and our relationship is maintained, so do get in touch if for some reason you are not happy with your purchase. Returns are not accepted without prior approval and are subject to return shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee. We will do everything we can to work with you to ensure any issues are solved.
Gift vouchers are not returnable. Items purchased with a gift voucher can be returned for shop credit only.
We recommend a cold wash on a gentle cycle with similar colours, no chlorine bleach, gentle tumble dry. Iron at maximum of 150°C on reverse side only.
Can I use your fabrics for quilting?
Yes you can. The 100% cotton fabrics are best suited to quilting.
What does “fabric repeat” mean?
Designs are repeated along the length of a bolt of fabric. The length of the repeat is determined by the size of the screens that the mills use to print the fabric. As an example, the exact same peony on a floral print would appear every 12″ or every 24″, depending on the repeat.
Will my fabric arrive in continuous lengths?
However, if for any reason our inventory for a certain print is spread across one or more pieces, we will always contact the customer prior to shipping.

What security measures do you have in place?
Card payments can be performed online safely with the Nets SSL-secured payment form. Our company does not have access to cardholder data, and card information is not stored on our systems. Our online store uses the international Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services, which verify the identity of the cardholder.
